Description
RUST and FLOWERS depicts aged farm equipment and a bike with its basket full of flowers. The Hill country of Texas features all types of delightful antique and curio shops and this stop was at the "By the River Shop", on the road from Wimberly. Leaning up against indigenous stone from the area, a rusty Hay rake and a bicycle with several colors of peeling paint, appear for outdoor decor and potential sale. The additional arrangement of live plants and flowers, in the windowsill and bicycle basket, made the scene almost European in style. I shot this as a countryside town as well as a faux Euro scene (resembling country french or italian) and added it to my memorabilia photo collection of flea market and antique finds, among other galleries.
