Description
One of my favorites from my Bluebonnet album.
A Texan Springtime trail near Ennis. The state flower of Texas is a blue lupine, called a Bluebonnet . It's the only lupine naturally growing in Texas and most of the south US.
Contrary to popular belief, it is not illegal to pick the state Bluebonnet!

In Ennis Texas, a lane leads up over a hill covered in Bluebonnets. Bluebonnet trails are popular each year in Spring in Texas. Royal blue lupines, also known as Bluebonnets, are the state flower of TEXAS. Lupines grow in other shades but seem to favor the royal blue color when it comes to Texas.
