Description

A crop of Texas bluebonnets, near Sulphur Springs in east Texas, stood out against the overcast skies. The flower belongs to the family "lupine". The lime green new growth at the top of the blossom is one of my favorite parts of the flower.
The raindrop, or droplet, magnifies the details of just one of the lupines in this original photopainting. I hope the unusual enhancements capture your fascination.

Pamela Smale Williams artist and photographer is a native Texan. Photography as a teen later turned to digital art and mixed media.
After a much loved practice 34 years as a marriage and couples psychotherapist she picked up camera and paints again. Pamela began her Mermaid artworks as of 2015 and continues expressing varied works in digipainting in east Texas.
