Description
This beautiful ANGEL of gold leaf was only colored in gold, alone, with minimal darker folds-- originally. It was part of the seasonal decor in the gift shop at Dallas Arboretum. I got up close to get details and digitally painted in jewel tones to enhance the color for a more vivid and saturated photopainting. I think the iridescence in the color spectrum gives an elegance overall that viewers have reacted favorably to. ANGEL HERALD goes well against a black backdrop as an elegant art statement.

Pamela Smale Williams Artography combines photography with digital painting to create a different final art piece. "It's own kind of genre, I coined the term Artography in 2009 for the process that blends photography techniques and both pigment art and digital paint as a mixed media all its own". It's both ART and PHOTOGRAPHY but it's an intelligent progression from the way art evolved with mixed mediums.
