Ft. Worth water Gardens, a travel spot in downtown, was home to a 1976 SciFi movie scene. Actors Michael York and Peter Ustinov played roles using this water pond at their entrance to another "world". Dystopia and ageism at its worst, society was designed to eliminate adults as they reached their 30th birthdays--supposedly to be reborn, but are instead vaporized. Certainly a piece of SciFi memorabilia, the steps lead from the city street level to the turquoise pond, 38 feet down terraced steps.
As popular as it is, the shot is most difficult to get without someone standing in it so I did my best. I like the color and shadows of this perspective and hope you enjoy it as well.
