Description
A crumbling, forgotten shed hides behind its own small grove of tall, slender trees in bright early autumn countryside of east Texas near Linden TX. in Cass county. If you look closely towards the back of the scene at the left, you may be able to make out the small stream running through arching white trunked trees by the yellow wildflowers and slightly darker but taller elevation at its opposite bank.
SOLD! Print from resident buyer in California! SO happy to hear from my best buyer and friend JWG! Thank you again J! Pamela

What is ARTOGRAPHY:
ARTography combines photography with digital painting to create a different final piece. I coined the term Artography in 2009 for the process that blends photography, pigment art, and digital paint as media of its own. I love the many ways imagery and varying modes of painting, drawing, and re-imagining can be brought fully to a canvas, actual or virtual.
My original photograph with painting technique(s) added, digitally or using pigment, to each of these pictures. This gives a new effect and is most often additive. Frequently, to create new texture, airbrush tip or paintbrush is applied. Sometimes the image is printed off and then actually hand painted on top of that layer with acrylics, inks, and watercolor pencil. A tablet or a track ball mouse gives more precision to how I control my strokes and techniques. Occasionally graphics and text are added or partial images are removed in a separate exposure. The overall result and the process are sometimes referred to as a photopainting, photo manipulation, Cafeart, or painterly enhanced. I call it ARTography!
