In a field near Wimberly Texas, on the grounds of 'The Blair House', a countryside B and B, a lovely Spring sun picked out a patch of grass to shine upon and display Mother Nature's works of art, Wildflowers. The bright yellow contrast was particularly show stopping. Native flowers and wildflowers are synonymous as field flowers and meadows. The enhanced texture and vibrancy of coloration in the original photo lends a brighter and bolder photopainting achievement.

Dallas born and raised, my love of gardening and florals took a forefront in macro photography as a dominant interest. I began photography at around age 15 -16 with 35 mm NIKON, in the film days before digital cameras. NIKON girl, favoring acrylics, inks, and watercolor colored pencils as my mediums for painting.
I'm most creative when I can blend pigment with photography, a result I coined "artography". I'm fascinated by history and I'm an Anglo-phile, but born a native 4th generation Texan.
