Night time exposures that include neon are more difficult to capture than night shots with other lighting. Flash can't be used or it would wash out the appearance of the neon saturated gases within the glass tube housing. This scene depicts an upward view of overhead decorative strings of lights. Beginning as my photograph from an urban restaurant district setting in FriscoTexas, it was digitally hand painted to give it added flair.
