Description
"JUST AN OLD FASHIONED LOVE SONG", lyrics from Three Dog Night's hit song, came to mind as I enhanced the textured feel of this original photograph. I discovered these petunias and wood planks at a Texas farmstead with my Nikon in hand. It turned out that this spot out in the Texas countryside became my home a short time later. The scene depicts a natural and rustic setting with a contrast of textures, representing flowery vs. rough objects. The iconography shows a masculine or cowboy kind of valentine, birthday, or other occasion.
