Description

Vintage flea market shopper or "Shopper Fairy Godmother" is a capture of a handmade item I located at a church sale, in east Texas. This tall skinny gal appears to be made from a paper towel cardboard roll and layered painted papers with painted designs. The attachments include a hair flower, a magic wand, a hat, glasses, ribbons, necklace, hearts, and streamers. She carries a miniature gift bag, also painted and designed. I photographed her in bright sunlight, then saturated the colors to counteract sun's fading effect. She's ideal for a greeting card for your shop-til-you-drop friends. Great as a birthday card or mom's day, especially.
