This backlit garden lily caught my eye at the golden hour in early Spring. I enhanced the photograph with cyan/bluegreen to create an opposite color contrast and show off the composition against the sun. More rows of lilies were behind this one, helping to create a good depth to the shot and adding more silhouettes in the glowing orange. Photography as a teen (with a Nikon 35 mm film camera) took a lead interest and "flowered" into digital painting.
