The lower pasture always gets more moisture and since the light gets there first, silhouettes and atmospheric scenery is guaranteed on this spot in the Texas countryside. The birds hadn't arrived yet for their fall weather baths this misty morning, but the Mermaid in the birdbath was keeping watch for them.
