Description
Metal Tartan is an open weave X criss cross abstract that warped into a contemporary metal pattern, in post process. Originally a macro photo of a luminous architectural feature atop the Geodome of Dallas, I painted shadows and enhanced a metallica effect that creates a geometric matrix. The shiny golden tones warm up pale red and hints of warm brown. It will come to life in a larger print size, suitable for showing off the inner vortex of the piece. Contemporary in feeling yet reminiscent of a Tartan plaid that could blend well with traditional decor as well.
