Description

I was enchanted by these anemones, taken at the Dallas arboretum during Dallas Blooms, because of their form and full bloom. I have heard anemones referred to as Windflowers, based mostly on their delicate pollen that's light enough to fly in the breeze, and floating seeds. The colors here evoked a Mardi Gras theme to me, and would make a nice backdrop for King Cake with purple and gold beads!
