Description

This beach sunset has a conjugation of canoes, or fishing boats, used by local Mexican fishermen near Puerta Vallarta. The tide is out and four boats wait on the moon and returning tide. In the village of Boca de Tomatlán in Mexico, the Pacific ocean comes right up to mountainous tropical jungle shores. The wet sands here are in the lengthening shade and display a collection of earthy details next to the rocks nearby. Sandy footprints lead the eye from closer up to the group of boats. Beyond, at the shoreline, a boy and a fisherman enjoy the sunset tide. The foreground gives you the best look at the geology indigenous to that particular Pacific seashore. Texture and hand painted colorization enhancement was added to display the truer colors of Mexico and fight bright sun reflection.
