Description

That's where this folksy fish was captured, in the glass basin sink at home! This wooden carved fish was a flea market find I liked for its animated style and colors. I enhanced some of his coloring and texturized the droplets so they showed up better. I played with a variety of views and angles to get the look I was after and liked this one, focusing on the blur at the top depicting the water distortion, as if the fish really was submerged in water.
There's another Fish artography piece in this gallery that might look good as a grouping with this one; look for 'Fish Splash' and its partner piece 'Seahorse Glitterati' both in the Moody Blues album!

What is ARTOGRAPHY:
ARTography combines photography with digital painting to create a different final piece. I coined the term Artography in 2009 for the process that blends photography, pigment art, and digital paint as media of its own. I love the many ways imagery and varying modes of painting, drawing, and re-imagining can be brought fully to a canvas, actual or virtual.

WHO is Artography by Pamela:
I enjoy flower photography, bold colors in varieties of subjects, neon and urban scenery, and candid portrait photography.
Always a NIKON girl in camera art, I favor acrylics, inks, watercolor and watercolor colored - pencils as my mediums for paint over photography. Digital painting is the most fun for me.
I'm most creative when I can blend pigment or digital paints with photography, a result I coined "artography" as a descriptive term to join two processes most often used.
I'm fascinated by history as an Anglo-phile with British and Texan ancestors, I was born a native 6th generation Texan in Dallas. Officially I'm a baby boomer and have attended all Texas schools and colleges.
