Description
Cone Of Orange Fire is a macro flower piece showing the texture and petal striations of a white jasmine flower. I pictured a cauldron of fire heading downward in its center, like the center of a volcano. I accentuated the edge, texture, and bokeh to bring the viewer into the core of orange flame. This flower grows in a Jefferson Texas flower garden, its vines covering an arbor on one of the historic streets that make a trip to Jefferson worth the effort. I was there on Labor day and visited a bistro with an old courtyard, then was lucky enough to discover this lovely blooming vine on an arched arbor, just down the street.
