Description

This photograph was captured within 24 hours of the burning of the famous old PRIDE HOUSE BED AND BREAKFAST, aka the George Washington Brown house, in historic Jefferson Texas. I captured photos and did some inspired paintings afterwards, of this 18th century old lady who had tragically met her end in a fire the night before. Literally an historical image, this segment shows an outer window looking through to some of the debris. Some say the House was haunted.

I wish I'd visited the site before the tragedy and met the ghosts! Sad to see the loss. Vintage window contained stain glass as well as the gingerbread trim.
