Description

A black and white with a splash of colorized macro of my Mermaid coffee table, which is a brownish bronze color in its original state. When I first saw her, it struck a chord but I didn't know why for awhile. Later I realized the face and body of this sculpture resembled Botticelli 's painting of the goddess Aphrodite rising from the sea, standing nude, in a seashell (what a perfect setting for the daughter of Neptune/Poseidon, the Sea god! ) I've taken a series of shots of this one mermaid, in a variety of perspectives, and have photopaintings and artography from many of those. This is a colorized change up for black and white Photography followers.
