Looking at petroglyphs and browsing batik patterns one day, this particular batik design became my invention. A combination of watercolor, ink, and water colored pencils, it represents a more primitive or aboriginal piece, painted in a color palette that's unusual for typical African design. You may wish to display this work in a different perspective from what is shown here. It is designed to hang any direction.
