Title
Abstract Sunflower Van Gogh Would Love It
Artist
Pamela Smale Williams
Medium
Digital Art - Photograph Or Photopainting
Description
I think Van Gogh would've loved these sunflowers, in an abstracted but similar profile of flower selection to his beautiful oil painting of note. Notice the maturing brown petals of two blossoms from a summer garden. An inspired piece, this double exposure consists of two images, one a closeup palm leaf I'd enhanced with paint techniques and multiple bright colors (turning toward an animal print impression), and at the top-- a sunflower stem in nature from my sunflower patch at home. Combining these and utilizing a poster style look brought the piece together in a brand new way!
If you're a Van Gogh fan, a flower lover, or particularly a sunflower enthusiast, I hope you enjoy the contrasts and blend of digipaint techniques and twists to enhance the piece!

WHO is Artography by Pamela:
I enjoy flower photography, bold colors in varieties of subjects, neon and urban scenery, and candid portrait photography.
Always a NIKON girl in camera art, I favor acrylics, inks, and watercolor and watercolor colored pencils as my mediums for paint over my photography. Digital painting is the most fun for me.
I'm most creative when I can blend pigment or digital paints with photography, a result I coined "artography" as a descriptive term to join two processes most often used.
